Palestine, Israel and the Arab-Israeli Conflict Essay

Palestine, Israel and the Arab-Israeli Conflict - Essay Example Since the finish of the primary World War, the land known as Palestine had been under British Colonial guideline. In the early long stretches of Palestine, there were an a lot more noteworthy measure of Muslims than Jews possessing the land at just about seven to one. (Wikipedia.com, 2006) As further mistreatment came in the time World War, the repercussions brought about a considerably bigger deluge of Jewish individuals in Palestine. Rather than the more disproportionate contrast in Muslims to Jews, it was currently a two to one distinction. In 1948, Britain pulled out of Palestine, simultaneously perceiving the State of Israel and parting the land among Jews and Arabs. This choice was additionally settled upon by the United Nations. Anyway other Arab countries didn't concur, along these lines beginning the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Israel won this war and numerous different clashes after that. Because of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, be that as it may, numerous Palestinian Arabs lost, or were constrained out of, both their homes and jobs. The Israeli government, after the war, made the Absentee Property Law which permitted Israel to appropriate the property of the Palestinian Arab evacuees who were not in the nation around then. (Nabulsi, L., 2006) With the Palestinian Arab displaced people having no home-express, this issue drives us to increasingly current issues that face Israel and Palestinians right up 'til today. Ongoing Issues A significant part of the ongoing clashes in Israel are because of contradictions between legislature of Israel and the Palestinian Authority with regards to the fate of a Palestinian express, the destiny of the Palestinian outcasts and the endurance of an Israeli state (Wikipedia.com, 2006). Fear monger exercises realized by the development of gatherings, for example, Hamas and Hezbollah in the zone have made life hard for both Palestinian and Israeli individuals. Life is an every day battle among typicality and confusion. Harmony has been expedited by pretty much every President of the United States since the late 1970's. Guides were composed to lead the different sides to an understanding, yet a psychological oppressor assault against Israeli individuals by Palestinian self destruction aircraft would prompt reprisal by Israeli military powers, et cetera. Associations, for example, the Palestinian Liberation Organization, presently the Palestinian Authority (PA) drove at once by Yasir Arafat, benefited some in driving the Palestinians to a concurrence with Israel. The Oslo Peace Accords were the latest endeavor to come to understanding. Be that as it may, because of numerous Palestinians want to have no Jewish state, and thusly no Israel, it is with incredible trouble that any understanding may ever hold. Arrangement In the present setting of the Arab-Israeli clash, it appears there will never be an answer for the issue or a conclusion to the brutality. From the road level, with rough assaults now and again a day by day event, unmistakably an understanding is far away. The Palestinian road has conclusively dismissed Oslo [Peace Accords], and high ranking representatives of the PA presently state that UN goals must frame the reason for future status talks, (Beinin and Hajjar, 2000).â

The Double Ten Day Holiday in China

Double Ten Day (é›™å Ã§ ¯â‚¬) is celebrated yearly on October 10. Double Ten Day is the anniversary of the Wuchang Uprising (æ ¦Ã¦ËœÅ'è µ ·Ã§ ¾ ©), a revolt that led to a declaration of independence from the central government by Wuchang and several other provinces in China in 1911. The Wuchang Uprising led to the Xinhai Revolution (è ¾â€ºÃ¤ º ¥Ã© ©Ã¥â€˜ ½) in which revolutionary forces overthrew the Qing Dynasty, ending more than 2,000 years of dynastic rule in China and ushering in the Republican Era (1911 to 1949). The revolutionaries were upset over government corruption, the encroachment of foreign countries into China, and resentment over Manchu rule over Han Chinese. The Xinhai Revolution ended with Emperor Puyi being ousted from the Forbidden City in 1912. The Xinhai Revolution led to the establishment of the Republic of China (ROC) in January 1912. After World War II, The ROC government lost control of the Chinese mainland to the Chinese Communist Party in the Chinese Civil War (1946 to 1950). In 1949, the ROC government retreated to Taiwan, where its constitution has remained in force to the present day. Who Celebrates Double Ten Day Nearly all Taiwanese have the day off from work on Double Ten Day in Taiwan. In mainland China, Double Ten Day is referred to as the Anniversary of the Wuchang Uprising (æ ¦Ã¦ËœÅ'è µ ·Ã¤ ¹â€°Ã§ º ªÃ¥ ¿ µÃ¦â€" ¥) and memorial celebrations are often held. In Hong Kong, small parades and celebrations are held though they have not been as lavish since the transfer of Hong Kong’s sovereignty from the United Kingdom to China on July 1, 1997. Overseas Chinese living in cities with large Chinatowns also host Double Ten Day parades. How People Celebrate Double Ten Day in Taiwan In Taiwan, Double Ten Day begins with a flag-raising ceremony in front of the Presidential Building. After the flag is raised, the National Anthem of the Republic of China is sung. A parade from the Presidential Building to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial is held. The parade used to be a military parade but now government and civic organizations are included. Afterward, Taiwan’s president gives a speech. The day concludes with fireworks.

Poverty Of The United States - 1139 Words

Genna Stott Mrs. Weekman Honors English II- 6 April 29, 2016 Poverty in America Imagine yourself trapped inside a storm that never seems to end. Where do you go? Who do you turn to for help? Poverty is often described as an endless cycle, struggled with by many, and something parents strive to withhold from their children. In 2014, about 47 million people lived in poverty in the United States (Poverty 1). This means 15 percent of America lives in a constant state of need (Poverty 1). These people have become resented by society and caring for them is viewed as an annoyance. In a country recognized as one of the wealthiest in the world, no one’s needs should be ignored, and†¦show more content†¦On the other side of the country, in California, Michelle Carter strains to take care of her 3 boys. Michelle uses the few food stamps she is given to provide dinner for her boys, but relies on their school to supply them with breakfast and lunch (Facing). The number of families like Desiree’s and Michelle’s r eaches into the hundred thousands, but some Americans do not even know they exist. If the state of hardship continues for long enough, it can take a toll on the mental health of the individual. Some families have to decide if they will get help for the mental condition of their child or if they will pay rent (Joey). In a poem about mental health and poverty, Neil Hilborn speaks about one of his childhood friends, â€Å" We both had parents who believed us when we said we weren t ok, but mine could afford to do something about it.† A young mother’s daughter struggles with a mental disorder and in order to get her help the mother has to use government money. The problem with this government assistance is that once the recipient of the money gets a job, the money stops being provided (Fessler 3). Studies have shown that, â€Å"suicide and mental illness rates are directly related to poverty and unemployment rates† (Poverty). In recent years, 6.6 percent of people b elow the poverty line have a serious mental illness and the number of those people is increasing (Levine 4). These facts should stir the American people to action against

Hamlet Comment on Humanity Essay Example For Students

Hamlet Comment on Humanity Essay The Elizabethan play The Tragedy of Hamlet Prince of Denmark is one of William Shakespeares most popular works. One of the possible reasons for this plays popularity is the way Shakespeare uses the character Hamlet to exemplify the complex workings of the human mind. The approach taken by Shakespeare in Hamlet has generated countless different interpretations of meaning, but it is through Hamlets struggle to confront his internal dilemma, deciding when to revenge his fathers death, that the reader becomes aware of one of the more common interpretations in Hamlet; the idea that Shakespeare is attempting to comment on the influence that ones state of mind can have on the decisions they make in life. As the play unfolds, Shakespeare uses the encounters that Hamlet must face to demonstrate the effect that ones perspective can have on the way the mind works. In his book Some Shakespeare Themes An Approach to Hamlet, L. C. Knight takes notice of Shakespeares use of these encounters to journey into the workings of the human mind when he writes: What we have in Hamlet.is the exploration and implicit criticism of a particular state of mind or consciousness. In Hamlet, Shakespeare uses a series of encounters to reveal the complex state of the human mind, made up of reason, emotion, and attitude towards the self, to allow the reader to make a judgment or form an opinion about fundamental aspects of human life. (192) Shakespeare sets the stage for Hamlets internal dilemma in Act 1, Scene 5 of Hamlet when the ghost of Hamlets father appears and calls upon Hamlet to revenge his foul and most unnatural murder (1.5. 24). It is from this point forward that Hamlet must struggle with the dilemma of whether or not to kill Claudius, his uncle, and if so when to actually do it. As the play progresses, Hamlet does not seek his revenge when the opportunity presents itself, and it is the reasoning that Hamlet uses to justify his delay that becomes paramount to the readers understanding of the effect that Hamlets mental perspective has on his situation. In order to fully understand how Hamlets perspective plays an important role in this play, the reader must attempt to answer the fundamental question: Why does Hamlet procrastinate in taking revenge on Claudius? Although the answer to this question is at best somewhat complicated, Mark W. Scott attempts to offer some possible explanations for Hamlets delay in his book, Shakespeare for Students: Critics who find the cause of Hamlets delay in his internal meditations typically view the prince as a man of great moral integrity who is forced to commit an act which goes against his deepest principles. On numerous occasions, the prince tries to make sense of his moral dilemma through personal meditations, which Shakespeare presents as soliloquies. Another perspective of Hamlets internal struggle suggests that the prince has become so disenchanted with life since his fathers death that he has neither the desire nor the will to exact revenge. (74) Mr. Scott points out morality and disenchantment, both of which belong solely to an individuals own conscious, as two potential causes of Hamlets procrastination, and therefore he offers support to the idea that Shakespeare is placing important emphasis on the role of individual perspective in this play. The importance that Mr. Scotts comment places on Hamlets use of personal meditations to make sense of his moral dilemma (74), also helps to support L.C. Knights contention that Shakespeare is attempting to use these dilemmas to illustrate the inner workings of the human mind. In Hamlet, Shakespeare gives the reader an opportunity to evaluate the way the title character handles a very complicated dilemma and the problems that are generated because of it. These problems that face Hamlet are perhaps best viewed as overstatements of the very types of problems that all people must face as they live their lives each day. The magnitude of these everyday problems are almost always a matter of individual perspective. Each person will perceive a given situation based on his own state of mind. The one, perhaps universal, dilemma that faces all of mankind is the problem of identity. Career Goals As A Nurse Educator Essayillustrate the inner workings of the human mind. The area was not mentioned in recorded history however until the 16th century when Spanish and English explorers spotted the coast. In 1778 Captain James Cook mapped part of Oregon’s coast while on a journey looking for the Northwest Passage. In 1792 Captain Robert Gray discovered the Columbia River and claimed the region for the United States. In 1805 Lewis and Clark explored the Oregon region as part of their expedition. Seven years later in 1811 John Jacob Astor established a fur depot called Astoria near the mouth of the Columbia River. It was the first permanent European settlement in Oregon. By the 1820s the Hudson’s Bay Company became the dominant fur traders in the Pacific Northwest and it established a headquarters at Fort Vancouver in 1825. In the early 1840s, Oregon’s population grew considerably as the Oregon Trail brought many new settlers into th e region. In the late 1840s, the United States and British North America had a dispute about where the border between the two would be. In 1846 the Oregon Treaty set the border at the 49th parallel. In 1848 the Oregon Territory was officially recognized and on February 14, 1859, Oregon was admitted into the Union. Today Oregon has a population of over 3 million people and its largest cities are Portland, Salem, and Eugene. It has a relatively strong economy that depends on agriculture and various high-tech industries as well as natural resource extraction. The major agricultural products of Oregon are grain, hazelnuts, wine, assorted types of berries and seafood products. Salmon fishing is a major industry in Oregon. The state is also home to large companies such as Nike, Harry and David and Tillamook Cheese.Tourism is also a major part of Oregon’s economy with the coast being a major travel destination. The Oregon coast is divided into three regions: the North Coast that stretches from the mouth of the Columbia River to Neskowin, the Central Coast from Lincoln City to Florence and the South Coast that stretches from Reedsport to the state’s border with California. Coos Bay is the largest city on the Oregon coast.Oregon’s topography is highly varied and consists of mountainous regions, large valleys such as the Willamette and Rogue, high elevation desert plateau, dense evergreen forests as well as redwood forests along the coast. The highest point in Oregon is Mount Hood at 11,249 feet (3,428 m). It should be noted that Mount Hood, like most of the other tall mountains in Oregon, is a part of the Cascade Mountain Range    a volcanic range stretching from northern California into British Columbia, Canada. In general Oregon’s varied topography is normally divided into eight different regions. These regions consist of the Oregon Coast, the Willamette Valley, the Rogue Valley, the Cascade Mountains, the Klamath Mountains, the Columbia River Plateau, the Oregon Outback and the Blue Mountains ecoregion.Oregon’s climate varies throughout the state but it is generally mild with cool summers and cold winters. Positions for and Against Abortion

Positions for and Against Abortion Many points come up in the abortion debate. Heres a look at abortion from both sides: 10 arguments for abortion and 10 arguments against abortion, for a total of 20 statements that represent a range of topics as seen from both sides. Pro-Life Arguments Since life begins at conception, abortion is akin to murder as it is the act of taking human life. Abortion is in direct defiance of the commonly accepted idea of the sanctity of human lifeNo civilized society permits one human to intentionally harm or take the life of another human without punishment, and abortion is no different.Adoption is a viable alternative to abortion and accomplishes the same result. And with 1.5 million American families wanting to adopt a child, there is no such thing as an unwanted child. An abortion can result in medical complications later in life; the risk of ectopic pregnancies doubles and the chance of a miscarriage and pelvic inflammatory disease also increases. In the instance of rape and incest, proper medical care can ensure that a woman will not get pregnant. Abortion punishes the unborn child who committed no crime; instead, it is the perpetrator who should be punished.Abortion should not be used as another form of contraception. For women who dema nd complete control of their body, control should include preventing the risk of unwanted pregnancy through the responsible use of contraception or, if that is not possible, through abstinence. Many Americans who pay taxes are opposed to abortion, therefore its morally wrong to use tax dollars to fund abortion. Those who choose abortions are often minors or young women with insufficient life experience to understand fully what they are doing. Many have lifelong regrets afterward.Abortion frequently causes intense psychological pain and stress. Pro-Choice Arguments Nearly all abortions take place in the first trimester when a fetus is attached by the placenta and umbilical cord to the mother. As such, its health is dependent on her health, and cannot be regarded as a separate entity as it cannot exist outside her womb. The concept of personhood is different from the concept of human life. Human life occurs at conception, but fertilized eggs used for in vitro fertilization are also human lives and those not implanted are routinely thrown away. Is this murder, and if not, then how is abortion murder?Adoption is not an alternative to abortion because it remains the womans choice whether or not to give her child up for adoption. Statistics show that very few women who give birth choose to give up their babies; less than 3 percent of white unmarried women and less than 2 percent of percent black unmarried women.Abortion is a safe medical procedure. The vast majority of women (88 percent) who have an abortion do so in their first trimester. Me dical abortions have less than 0.5 percent risk of serious complications and do not affect a womans health or future ability to become pregnant or give birth. In the case of rape or incest, forcing a woman made pregnant by this violent act would cause further psychological harm to the victim. Often a woman is too afraid to speak up or is unaware she is pregnant, thus the morning after pill is ineffective in these situations.Abortion is not used as a form of contraception. Pregnancy can occur even with responsible contraceptive use. Only 8Â  percent of women who have abortions do not use any form of birth control, and that is due more to individual carelessness than to the availability of abortion. The ability of a woman to have control of her body is critical to civil rights. Take away her reproductive choice and you step onto a slippery slope. If the government can force a woman to continue a pregnancy, what about forcing a woman to use contraception or undergo sterilization?Taxpayer dollars are used to enable poor women to access the same medical services as rich women, and abortion is one of these services. Funding abortion is no differ ent from funding a war in the Mideast. For those who are opposed, the place to express outrage is in the voting booth. Teenagers who become mothers have grim prospects for the future. They are much more likely to leave school; receive inadequate prenatal care; rely on public assistance to raise a child; develop health problems; or end up divorced.Like any other difficult situation, abortion creates stress. Yet the American Psychological Association found that stress was greatest prior to an abortion and that there was no evidence of post-abortion syndrome.

Despite unprecedented expenditure into the NHS in England, Essay - 1

Despite unprecedented expenditure into the NHS in England, inequalities in health are widening for some outcomes. Discuss - Essay Example et information from a need-based formula that provides equal access level to health services for the population at the same risk, so as to prevent or minimise avoidable risk. The health department is the one that allocates resources to the NHS. The NHS develops a formula for distributing the funds to the neediest PCTs. Many of these PCTs do not receive their full allocations, hence, the need for the quick action by the government so as to ensure that PCTs receive the right amount it requires. Health inequality has become a key issue in England. The heath department is responsible for resource allocation to the NHS. Despite the improved health of all groups of people in England, health inequalities between social classes have widened by a bigger percentage over the recent years. The rich people’s health is improving at a drastic rate as compared to that of the poor. Health inequality is not only among the financial social classes, but also exists amongst the elderly, the mentally ill and those with disabilities. All these groups of people have been found to receive worse health services than the normal population (Earle and Sharp, 2007). The causes of health inequalities are normally complicated or intense they may include mostly lifestyle factors such as nutrition, exercise among others and also broader determinants such as housing poverty, education to name just a few. How ever there are those inequalities that are UN avoidable. These originate from three broad variations: the quality of health services, access to health services and services beyond the control of health systems, for example, wealth lifestyle, (Bourdieu 1999), genetics (Earle and Sharp, 2007)among others. It is evident that most population suffering these health inequalities does so in all the three accounts, they access poor health services moreover they suffer external disadvantages. A poor quality health service for the disadvantaged population is mostly a management problem. The right

Questioning Assignment Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words

Questioning - Assignment Example In any case, the ultimate aim of a question is to collect information from another person or to test the knowledge of another person. In academic world, questions have more importance than anything else. In fact according to the modern educational philosophies, the teacher should ask questions to the students and the students should give answers to that. When the student fails to answer the question, the teacher should guide him to find out the answer. Curiosity is necessary for the students to learn a topic well. In order to develop curiosity, the teacher should ask interesting questions to the students. These questions should be asked in particular patter; easy to difficult. Initial questions should be easy so that the student may answer it easily. However the last questions should be difficult so that the students fail to answer it. In other words, the teacher should create a scenario in which the students were guides from a known situation to an unknown situation. Only in such an unknown situation, the students develop interest or curiosity in the topic and will attend the class properly. Questions are asked i n classes in order to: To develop interest and motivate students to become actively involved in lessons; To evaluate students’ preparation and check on homework or seatwork completion; To develop critical thinking skills and inquiring attitudes; To review and summarize previous lessons; To nurture insights by exposing new relationships; To assess achievement of instructional goals and objectives; To stimulate students to pursue knowledge on their own (Cotton, n. d. p.1). The teacher normally asks two types of questions to the students; high and low level questions. Low level questions are intended to test the knowledge level of the students whereas the high level questions may test the understanding level of the students. For example, who is the president of America is a low order question which tests only the

Cyrano De Bergerac :: Cyrano Bergerac

Cyrano De Bergerac Ever since birth, Cyrano De Bergerac has had an enormous, revolting nose. He has become more and more self conscious about it as time has progressed, and now as a grown man it has created a serious lack of self esteem. He is confident when he is in a situation in which he is able to defend himself physically against male attackers of both the physical and verbal nature, but when around women he becomes incredibly bashful and is wholly unable to communicate. Cyrano has unknowingly created a sort of psychological trap in which women are kept on the outside and men are free to roam within. Lacking confidence around women, he is forced to pour his heart out on to letters and is deprived of any kind of physical contact with the opposite gender. Without confidence, a man's attempts at any kind of a relationship with a woman are almost always thwarted because in order for a woman to be attracted to a man, she must first see confidence in him. Since Cyrano has no confidence in his ability with women, he is stuck in a never-ending cycle of rejection and loneliness. He is completely confident, almost arrogant, in his fighting and literary abilities, as demonstrated by his defeat and humiliation of Valvert in Act I. In a captivating display of intelligence and physical ability, he defeats Valvert in a swordfight while he composes a poem poking fun at him. Evidently Cyrano has the potential to be a great man, even a hero. The problem originates within his inability to act normally around a woman he is attracted to, much like the majority of modern adolescent boys. This lack of confidence in one area of his life quickly spreads and begins to affect his everyday life, as shown in Act IV when his desperation for a female partner leads him to risk his life on a daily basis by delivering love letters across enemy lines on foot. Given that Roxane only really knows her "lover" through his letters, she builds an image of him in her mind that corresponds with the level of passion incorporated in to the letters. The image she has envisioned is of a young, healthy, good-looking, strong man whom she finds in Christian.

Introduction: Multi-brand Direct Selling System

Direct selling is the sale of a consumer product or service, person-to-person, away from a fixed retail location, marketed through independent sales representatives who are sometimes also referred to as consultants, distributors or other titles. Just about any product or service can be purchased through direct selling somewhere In the world. Many people think of cosmetics, wellness products and home d ©cord as products that are often sold through direct sales, but add to that countless other product categories including kitchen products, jewelry, clothing, organic gardening applies, spa products, scrapbook supplies, rubber stamps and more. During the past couple of years, Callahan City has catered the location and opportunities for business ventures. Some of the said businesses that have taken their bloom are In direct selling market.Callahan City opened Its gateways to direct selling companies like Nathan, MESS, Departure Brands, Avon, Personal Collection and many others, which bec ame the norms and extra sources of income for some of the household mothers across the province. Having Callahan City as the location of choice for the ranches of these brand names, multi-brand outlets from other municipalities sprout. Direct selling outlets, are managed by individual members registered in a brand, which gained their own set of dealers. At first, a member will need to register Is a brand. Or example, he/she needs to be a registered dealer for Nathan to place an order directly to the Nathan branch. A Nathan dealer will have an option of purchasing the product by cash, with 22% discount, or placing an order by credit which will give him/her 2 months to pay benefit. In purchasing products by cash, there are no limits on purchase amount and no additional requirements. However, if a dealer wants to place an order by credit, he/she needs to have a checking account from any bank available within the country. The Nathan branch will get at least 10 blank checks Initially whic h postdated 2 months after the date of order. By doing these, Nathan branch will have a way to collect the amount needed for the placed order when the due date arrives. Initially, a registered Nathan dealer will have a maximum credit limit of UP, 000 which means that he can only order 22,000 worth of products by credit with corresponding 22% discount on all products. By time, this reedit Limit will Increase If Nathan recognized them as good payer (without past due records).Bilaterally, as his/her credit Increase, he/she can recruit new dealers under his/her name, on which can order directly from branch (which will follow the same procedure and requirements of the branch) or order from him. If a dealer/member reach a goal of either PEP,OHO within a single month or PEP,OHO within 2 months, he/ she will be promoted as a Fashion Pro(step higher than a dealer). With this, his initial 22% discount will be upgraded to 40%.By having this kind of benefit, a dealer can circuit more dealers un der his/her name, on which will place order to him (not from he can give his/her own dealer the 22% discount a new dealer is entitled to, and still keep 18% additional discount which will serve as his/her own revenue. By doing this, and he can now be categorized as a distributor. A distributor creates her own outlet which will then be the place for her own dealers to go to, inquire, place a product order and pay their dues.Similar procedures are applied on almost every other direct selling brand like Departure, Avon, MESS. Direct selling outlets can manage or eater multiple brands and can manage multiple individual dealers under one distributor. The outlets are the main link of the branch and the individual dealers who are not capable of reaching branches due to the distance between them and the hustles of commuting Just to get products.Since these outlets are intended to grow, task of monitoring the order and credit limits of its own dealers also grow. At current, the distributors are using manual monitoring of their dealers credit limit, orders and payments with an old fashioned ledger system on which they manually write down the list of credits and payments of dealer. Although brand branches uses a software that is provided by the brand, the direct selling outlets are left with manual monitoring of the credits and sales of their own dealers. At current status, there is no individual automated system that is created for the uses of these outlets since individual software of the brands are use solely for the branch operation. The outlet managers are left with the redundant work for monitoring individual sales and credits and the more dealers the outlet supports, the more paperwork the manager handles, the more likely human error will append in the computation and monitoring of the said sales and credits. This study aims to lessen the time being spent in manually monitoring the sales, credits and product inventory documents by providing an accurate and automated system that will not only help handle these files and records but will also help the outlet managers see projections future sales, get the clear view of the outlets performance per month, see the dealer's information and performance and the dealers pending dues for them to take actions and important decisions immediately. B. THEORETICAL FRAMEWORKThis study will consider the following theories in the design and implementation of the automated credit, sales and inventory system for direct selling distributors. This theory states that a careful planning process is necessary for direct sales people if they are to be successful. An analogy to a hurdle race seems to be appropriate to the direct sales process. If the salesperson cannot vault over each hurdle in its proper progression, he/she is unlikely to make a sale. (Gordon Stockholm 2009). This theory will support the study since the nature of the study is based on the current schemes and strategies of the direct selling business.By u nderstanding the theory, the outcome of the study will be guided accordingly in the main principles of the direct selling business. Business Management Theory This theory focuses on the principles and the practices of a business to attain its desired organizational goals conducting effective management. It is a range of approaches including the principles of accounting, public relations, operations, labor relations, time management to improve the performance of a business in some measurable or provable manner. This theory will support the study in consideration of business guidelines and reminisces in which the automated monitoring will follow. In this theory, all the principles especially the accounting, operations and time management will be deeply involved in the creation and designing of the automated system for the inventory of credits and sales of direct selling outlets. The Concept of Scientific Management The concept of Scientific Management is to perform the manual Job faste r than the old process of inventorying and with the efficiency of the company service in sales and marketing. This theory is applicable in the study by means of replacing the manual practices hat a multi-brand direct selling outlet is using for monitoring credits, sales and inventory for its individual and group dealers. These practices are also time consuming and there are certain errors that can't be avoided, mostly of having human errors. The proposed automated credit, sales and inventory system for direct selling distributors will helped to recover the process and attest that the concept of scientific management is applied in the study. C.CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK In generating full understanding of the whole process of direct selling business in Oriental Indoor, PIP (Input/Process/Output) model is used. Figurer . 0 describes the whole conceptual framework in which becomes the central theme, the focus, the main thrust of the study. It serves as the guide in conducting investigation. T he input describes the problems encountered on the existing manual practices that a multi- brand selling outlet is using for monitoring of the sales, credits and inventory for its individual and group dealers. The input will be acquired from the data to be gathered from interviews conducted with the distributors of Direct Selling Brands. Questioners for direct selling distributors, individual dealers of these distributors ND direct selling brand/branch managers.. Advantages of current Automated System of Direct Selling Branch available and operational here in Oriental Indoor will also be taken into account. Such inputs will be process to assess the need for the development of an Automated Sales, Credit and Inventory System for Direct Selling Distributors. These inputs will also be processed to create a unified process that can be applied by the Distributors in handling and monitoring multiple direct selling products that's under their outlets. Designing the system is to provide accura cy for ales, credits and product inventory to avoid errors in existing manual process of the said outlets. These inputs are generally considered in the formation of the automated system on which will help direst selling distributors in monitoring individual and group sales, credits as well as product inventory. D.OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY General objective of the study To design an automated system for the monitoring of sales and credits of each individual of group dealers, monitoring of product inventory that will be used by any multi-brand direct selling distributor in Oriental Indoor.
